SHAH ALAM (Sept 7): In the spirit of unity this Merdeka and Malaysia Day, S P Setia is gearing up for an exciting time together for the #Setia4Malaysia Unity Run.<\/p>\n

To be held on Sept 18, 2022 at Setia\u00a0Bayuemas\u00a0Lake Park,\u00a0Klang, the event is expecting more than 2,000 participants for its 5km fun run, which is open to all walks of life, and the 21.1km half marathon for running enthusiasts who are up for the challenge.<\/p>\n

\u201c#Setia4Malaysia Unity Run, a timely event in conjunction with Merdeka and Malaysia Day, is aimed at promoting awareness in being healthy and having a good way of life.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis can be achieved by making sure we are sustainable with our lifestyle which is in line with our \u2018LiveLearnWorkPlay\u2019 development philosophy because we are also encouraging our community at large as well,\u201d said S P Setia\u2019s chief risk, integrity & governance officer Nuranisah Mohd Anis.<\/p>\n

According to chief human resources officer Nadiah Tan Abdullah to be focusing on connectedness is \u201cthe core of our DNA\u201d, while emphasising on the spirit of togetherness and inclusivity that the Group aims to spread.<\/p>\n

The 10-acre Setia\u00a0Bayuemas<\/a>\u00a0Lake Park, rejuvenated from a retention pond for the residents of Setia\u00a0Bayuemas<\/a>\u00a0and the surrounding community, is expected to promote Setia\u00a0Bayuemas<\/a>\u00a0as a well-planned township in the South of\u00a0Klang<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Divisional general manager Razly Mohammad Rus looks forward to having the participants experience Setia\u00a0Bayuemas<\/a>\u00a0Lake Park to provide the community with more outdoor recreational spaces and promote wellbeing.<\/p>\n

Several social media influencers and celebrities are anticipated to join the event, which will be a boost for marathon runners and enthusiasts alike, as they can expect up to 30 of their favourite athletes and fitness influencers running alongside them at the #Setia4Malaysia Unity Run 2022.<\/p>\n
