{"id":2995,"date":"2022-09-09T06:22:35","date_gmt":"2022-09-09T06:22:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spsetia.com\/?post_type=news&#038;p=2995"},"modified":"2025-08-11T16:01:42","modified_gmt":"2025-08-11T08:01:42","slug":"setia-live-out-loud-concert-brought-5000-malaysians-together","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/spsetia.com\/zh\/news\/setia-live-out-loud-concert-brought-5000-malaysians-together\/","title":{"rendered":"Setia \u2018Live Out Loud\u2019 Concert brought 5,000 Malaysians together"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SEMENYIH (Sept 9):\u00a0Setia EcoHill\u00a0Walk burst to life when a crowd of 5,000 turned up to celebrate in songs and music with five well-known Malaysian artistes in the Setia \u201cLive Out Loud\u201d concert on Sept 3.<\/p>\n<p>The concert was organised by S P Setia Bhd in conjunction with the opening of its\u00a0Setia EcoHill\u00a0Mall, the retail component of\u00a0Setia EcoHill\u00a0Walk, which will be officially launched on Sept 15.<\/p>\n<p>Under clear night skies in a large open site next to the mall, the free concert brought together Malaysians from all races and all walks of life, who sang, swayed and even danced together to their favourite numbers.<\/p>\n<p>Multi-lingual emcees Baki Zainal and Caely See greeted the audience at 8.30pm before the stage was set on a roll with a riveting drum and percussion performance by Malaysian performing arts group Hands Percussion.<\/p>\n<p>The first song that rang out that night was \u201cAmalina\u201d, belted out by Santesh, who has garnered more than 37.078 million views on YouTube with this hit song, followed by two heart-thumping choruses, \u201cShocked\u201d and \u201cJiwang\u201d.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Setia \u2018Live Out Loud\u2019 concert featured main acts of five Malaysian artistes including Santesh, Priscilla Abby, Hael Husaini, Nicholas Teo and Datuk Zainalabidin\" src=\"https:\/\/media.edgeprop.my\/s3fs-public\/editorial\/my\/2022\/Sept\/9\/%5BSETIA%5DSetia%27LiveOutLoud%27concertfeaturedfiveMalaysianartistes.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption>Setia \u2018Live Out Loud\u2019 concert featured main acts of five Malaysian artistes including Santesh, Priscilla Abby, Hael Husaini, Nicholas Teo and Datuk Zainalabidin<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Next, Priscilla Abby moved the crowd to a sea of swaying lights with her covers of Mandarin hits \u201cGulf of Alaska\u201d and \u201cBirds and Cicadas\u201d, before bowing out with the first live performance of her self-written \u201cDon&#8217;t Make Me Like You Too Much\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Taking the stage next was one of Malaysia\u2019s top Malay young singers Hael Husaini, who uplifted the audience with beats of \u201cHati\u201d, \u201cMedley\u201d, \u201cKelentang Kelentong\u201d and \u201cSama Seperti Dulu\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>A special appearance of pop group The15 brought the crowd, including the VIPs, up and dancing with a few well-known covers, performed along with energetic dance moves.<\/p>\n<p>Making a special return to Malaysia from his base in Taiwan, Nicholas Teo delighted the fan-full crowd with his timeless signature songs \u201cPrince\u201d, \u201cThere\u2019s No If\u201d, a medley of \u201cLoneliness\u201d and \u201cMistake After Mistake\u201d, \u201cWho Will You Think of\u201d and the evergreen \u201cTears from Polaris\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Datuk Zainalabidin, at 63, showed he could still rock and tickle the audience with his banter as he closed the concert with his all-time favourite hits \u201cSenang Senang\u201d, \u201cDamai IV\u201d, \u201cDebu Liar\u201d, \u201cTelaga\u201d, \u201cManis\u201d, \u201cKhayalan\u201d, \u201cHijau\u201d and \u201cIkhlas Tapi Jauh\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The artistes were backed by composer and musician Mac Chew, pianist Jenny Chin, percussionist Steve Thornton and guitarist Shamril.<\/p>\n<p>A finale of fireworks brought the night to a close with a bang.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SEMENYIH (Sept 9):\u00a0Setia EcoHill\u00a0Walk burst to life when a crowd of 5,000 turned up to celebrate in songs and music with five well-known Malaysian artistes in the Setia \u201cLive Out Loud\u201d concert on Sept 3.
