{"id":2436,"date":"2024-07-12T07:01:40","date_gmt":"2024-07-12T07:01:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spsetia.com\/?post_type=news&#038;p=2436"},"modified":"2025-07-22T09:46:24","modified_gmt":"2025-07-22T01:46:24","slug":"setia-foundation-celebrates-world-environment-day-with-students-from-adopted-schools","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/spsetia.com\/zh\/news\/setia-foundation-celebrates-world-environment-day-with-students-from-adopted-schools\/","title":{"rendered":"Setia Foundation celebrates World Environment Day with students from adopted schools"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>S P Setia Foundation, the charity arm of S P Setia Bhd, held its Sincerely, Setia Special Celebration World Environment Day 2024 recently at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.edgeprop.my\/buy\/selangor\/all-residential?page=1&amp;searchedLabel=All%20in%20%22Setia%20EcoHill%22&amp;keyword=Setia%20EcoHill\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Setia EcoHill<\/a>\u00a0with students from Setia-adopted schools.<\/p>\n<p>Up to 60 students from Sekolah Kebangsaan\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.edgeprop.my\/buy\/selangor\/semenyih\/all-residential?page=1&amp;searchedLabel=Semenyih\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Semenyih<\/a>, Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina) Kampung Baru\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.edgeprop.my\/buy\/selangor\/semenyih\/all-residential?page=1&amp;searchedLabel=Semenyih\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Semenyih<\/a>, Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Tampoi and Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Ladang Rinching attended the fun and educational event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince 2000, we are constantly looking for ways to reinvent our sustainable and social responsibility, and to drive positive change, and through this event &#8211; with our collaboration with the stakeholders \u2014 we hope the students have gain an enlightening educational session in sustainability,\u201d said Setia Foundation\u2019s management committee and Setia\u2019s senior executive vice president Datuk Yuslina Mohd Yunus at the event.<\/p>\n<p>Setia Foundation\u2019s management committee and Setia\u2019s GM of group brand marketing and communications Adelene Wong said: \u201cWe have championed our initiatives to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), guided by our Trust Deeds. This is an important platform for us to further spearhead our sustainability efforts, especially for adopted school students under our Setia Caring School Programme.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are grateful that this event is supported and sponsored by our valued sponsors to enhance the students\u2019 overall experience, and to impart immeasurable lessons in sustainability,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Activities for the day were organised by Me Books, a children&#8217;s book publisher, with support from ACE Education Group.
