In 2018, Setia collaborated with The Star Media Group and Star R.AGE to launched the #StandTogether campaign in Malaysia to rally students, educators, and society at large, to stand up against bullying and to revive the lost art of kindness. We recorded pledges for this cause from more than 940 educators, 750 schools across Malaysia who reciprocated our push for kindness by celebrating National Kindness Week and spreading the Kindness message. Together, our unified voice reached over 5 million viewers on social media.
In 2019, we returned again with the campaign’s second installment embarking on our most ambitious kindness movement yet, by bringing fun, educational workshops to every state across the country as part of our nationwide “Kindness Tour”. We also conducted “Celebrity Surprise School Visits” and “Kindness Competitions” in schools nationwide. On the 4th May 2019, we wrapped up the #StandTogether campaign with the #StandTogether concert which was open to the public.
